L.M.I. is a band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania who formed in 2013, from the looks of things. L.M.I. play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, L.M.I. can be loosely compared to bands such as Meth Drinker, Deathrite, Gay Kiss, Churchwhip, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, L.M.I. have released a ten song LP titled Sleepwalker in May of 2014, a five song EP titled III in October of 2015, a ten song LP titled Far Beyond Nothing in June of 2017, and a five song EP titled IV in July of 2018. Excess Subconscious is the band’s latest full-length LP, which was released via Maniyax and Handstand records on June 26th, 2020. On Excess Subconscious, L.M.I. offer up nine tracks of vicious, scathing, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, and noise rock. Overall, Excess Subconscious makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
