Orations are a Post-Punk act from Buffalo, NY, strongly influenced by 80s acts such as Joy Division, The Cure, Bauhaus, Chameleons, Southern Death Cult and Christian Death. The bands latest album “Receiver” features 11 songs engineered and mixed by Jay Zubricky at GCR Audio. Led by Jess Collins’ powerful yet mysterious vocal delivery and Paul Morin’s angular guitar attack the album channels all the best aspects of gloom and doom alongside a heavy dose of “Left Of The Dial” style college rock.
