French hardcore/screamo/emo-violence for fans of Daitro, Raein, Sed Non Satiata, Finger Print. Since their last release, La Chaleur Nous Accable / Le Blizzard Persiste Chez Nous in 2021, Coven have been dedicated to sharing their melancholic and hopeful vision of a world that blends misery and beauty. The result? Dark, impactful music. More ethereal thanks to post-rock touches that bring them closer to Envy (one of whose members lends his voice for a few words of Japanese on Nos fantômes), the group nevertheless finds its identity beyond the territories explored by Tetsuya Fukagawa’s band with compositions sometimes close to post-hardcore. The power builds conclude with satisfying electric explosions.
