Full Review:

Decent, kinda modernized tough guy hardcore with a few emo flourishes and at least one moment of absolute velocity-halting joke reggae on “Take a Nap,” where the band seems to be taking on “too woke” leftist clout-chasers and “Queen Antifa.” Another song about being too old to date via social media, one about Lisa Nowak, one called “You Know What’s Up,” with the first verse going: “I just want my intentions known / I won’t reside in no friendship zone / Platonic love I’m not interested / I want a friendship with some benefits.” I dunno, it’s okay. Made up of a bunch of storied folks in the HC scene who have done time in bands like Guns Don’t Run, Supertouch, Off Minor, and Lytic, so it’s a safe bet that fans of that kinda stuff will find plenty to like here. –Keith Rosson (Handstand)
