MUTANT SCUM Test Press Specimens
In late 2018, 15 Mutant Scum test press prototypes were manufactured strictly for S.E.W.E.R. volunteers. Specimens were packaged in a white gatefold jacket with process artwork drafts by amateur cryptozoologist James Callahan at Barf Comics. Handstand Records and the Society for Estuary Waste Education & Research have recently cleared 4 limited edition units for release to the general public, which can be purchased through Bandcamp:

Proceeds will be donated to the New York City Environmental Justice Alliance, a non-profit network linking grassroots organizations from low-income neighborhoods and communities of color in their struggle for environmental justice. NYC-EJA are responsible for a massive overhaul of the city’s waste export system by utilizing water-based, less polluting barges that rely on a network of equitably sited marine and rail transfer stations. They have recently been championing plans to turn Rikers Island into a renewable energy hub.
